In nba news, according to sources the Orlando Magic traded forward Serge Ibaka to the Toronto Raptors for small forward Terrence Ross and a 2017 first round pick. Ibaka was traded from OKC Thuder during this past offseason. In other news Cleveland Cavs forward Kevin Love will be out for 6 weeks for surgery on his knee. On Thursday evening the Wizards will be at the Indiana Pacers. The Wizards are 33-21 in 3rd place in the eastern conference standings. In first place in the southeast division by 1 and a half games over the Hawks. And in NHL action the 39-11 Washington capitals will be at the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday evening. Steelers Ben Roethlisberger Suffered an Injury in The Game. Was Seen Walking with A Boot After Game. This is Chris mac with your sports wrap up on DC now radio DC now sports. On labor day MLB action the first place Washington Nationals won 6-4 over the braves. The nats are nearing another division title. 

 In the American league, the o's are two games back of the first place Toronto Blue Jays. O's won 7-3 against the Tampa Bay rays. 

 This Thurs night the start of the NFL season. Defending champion Denver Broncos will host game against the team they defeated in the sb the Carolina Panthers.

 This Sunday afternoon the Ravens will host the Buffalo Bills at 1pm. And on Monday night football the redskins will host game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  This was your sports wrap, I'm Chris mac on DC now radio DC now sports!

Monday and Tuesday sports wrap up 8-29,8-30

In preseason action, the Washington Redskins won 21-16 over the Buffalo Bills. Redskins kirk cousins threw 188 yds with 3td in the win.

The Baltimore Ravens won 30-9 in a rout against the Detroit Lions. Ravens Joe Flacco threw 11-16 for 94 yds in his return from his acl, mcl injury. Ravens lose tight end Benjamin Watson for the yr due to a torn achilles tendon.

In nats action they lost on Sunday to the Rockies 5-3. The o's shut out the Yankees 5-0 on sunday.

Breaking news! Brazilian Police say American swimmer Ryan Lochte lied about the robbery incident last sunday night and a video is emerging where lochte and his friends were fighting a security guard and broke down a door to a restroom room at a gas station in brazil last week. The video contradicts what Lochte asserted. Brazilian police detained the swimmers that was with lochte. Lochte reportedly went back to the U.S. some days ago after a Brazilian judge ordered to seize Lochte and the other swimmers involved in alledged incident passports. According to sources if Lochte did in fact lied about the robbery incident he could lose all of his endorsements. Stay tuned for more on this on upcoming sports wrap ups.

In Olympic action in the women's 100-meters hurdles race the USA swept the race. Brianna Rollins got the gold, Nia Ali the silver, and Kristi Castlin got the bronze medal.

The Washington Nationals continue to surge in the NL East division. They won last night in interleague action 4-1 over the Clevelandhttp://espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=360727105 With they win Nationals Strasburg is 14-1. Best record in the majors. The nationals will be at the San Francisco Giants tonight. Stay tuned.

In Team USA basketball action they defeated China in a route 107-57 in exhibition action, gearing up for the Rio Games in August. Carmelo Anthony of Team USA scored 20 pts in the win.

 Breaking news on DC now Radio DC now sports former 3 time heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali has died he was 74 yrs old. He died of a septic shock on Friday night. He battled Parkinson's disease many decades. Ali's funeral will be Friday at his hometown of Louisville, Ky. 

 In NBA finals action the defending champion Golden St. Warriors are just 2 games away from winning the title. They rout Cleveland in game 2 110-77. Game 3 on Wednesday night in Cleveland. 

In MLB action the 1st place Washington Nationals won 10-9 over the Cincinnati reds on Sunday. And the Baltimore O's who too are in 1st place in the al east division won 3-1 over the NY Yankees. 

In MMA news former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will be competing at UFC 200 on July 9th in Las Vegas against Mark Hunt. 

 In NHL Stanley Cup finals action the Pittsburgh Penguins leads series 2-1 over the San Jose Sharks.
