Chris Mac Sports Wrap-up 7-29-14

National Basketball Association news, the Los AngelesLakers have hired a new coach, Byron Scott. Scott signed a 4 year, 17 million dollar deal to become the Lakers headcoach. Scott won 3 titles with the Lakers as a player during the showtime era.

The Washington Nationals are still in Miami for game 2 of this 3 game series, game commences at 7 pm. The Marlins took a game 1 victory over the Nats, final score: Miami 7, Nationals 6. The American League Baltimore Orioles are hosting game 2 against the Los Angeles Angels at 7:05 pm tonight at Camden Yards.

Update on the Washington Redskins training camp: Robert Griffin III and the offense were down one day, but up the next. RGIII connected with Desean Jackson on a deep pass, then a few plays later a pass was intercepted by corner back Deangelo Hall, he went on to score a touchdown.
